The regeneration of Wakefield city centre and surrounding areas continues apace. Following on from proposals to redevelop the Kirkgate area, Wakefield Council has recently announced plans for the Civic Quarter around Wood Street. The Society has been very supportive of the regeneration work carried out so far and we have invited the Council's James Stephenson, Senior Development Manager for Wakefield, to update members on all the latest plans.Read More
